Who I am

I'm Dr. Nick Camacho, a PhD mathematician who's spent five years teaching everything from Algebra 1 to Multivariable Calculus.

I built this program because AP Calculus is where a lot of strong students hit their first real wall, and most of them have no one at home who can help when they get stuck.

So every week, your teen brings me the problems they're stuck on, and we will work through them together.

Whatever problems we don’t do live, I create short video explanations and make those available to the whole group. Throughout the year, students will have access to a growing library of video solutions.

Common questions from parents

  • Both. Most of the curriculum is identical. When AB and BC diverge in the Spring, BC students will still have access to me to ask questions and get the help they need.

  • Every live session is recorded and posted within 24 hours. If your child misses one, they watch the recording.

  • Each week, your teen sends me the problems they're stuck on ahead of time, and I build the session around submitted problems. We work through them live. Your student gets help on exactly what's tripping them up, not a generic lesson.

    As the year progresses, we will incorporate practice sets designed to match questions on the AP Calculus Exam.

  • Your student joins the first two sessions at no cost and takes part fully. If they have a homework question, they submit on the course website (the website link will be provided in the welcome email).

    If they don’t have anything to work on from their school yet, no worries. I have precalculus review problems ready, to target the skills they'll need for AP Calculus.

    We will always have something useful to work on!
